The Chapel’s major annual meetings include:

Prayer Week/Weekends:- Every February, the Chapel of Goodnews holds prayer and fasting week. It comes up 3rd week of the month. Also, the church observes two special prayer weekends in every year. The prayer weekends are normally concluded with our ENCOUNTER SUNDAYS.

Encounter Sundays:- There are three Sundays specially set aside in the year to attend to afflictions which appear to defy solution. Feb, May, Nov. All Field Missionaries Retreats:- The church holds Joint Field Missionary Retreat in June and November every year. This meeting is for the spiritual development and enhancement of Missionaries and potential second generation indigenous missionaries. Mission Week:- Chapel’s annual Mission Week is normally the last week of August. The meeting brings together missionaries from within and without Nigeria for prayers, networking, recruitment studies, awareness and challenges about the Great commission. Over the years, this meeting has grown into one of the main church based interdenominational mission conferences in Northern Nigeria. Others:-Other annual meetings of the Chapel include: Couples Conference for married couples. Also, we hold family parleys to address all the family members at least twice a year. SCAF:- Singles programmes and retreats address the needs of single Christian Adults as they prepare for marriage and home building. Adolescent’s holiday programme which holds mid August is an exciting and challenging time for our young people. Special Conferences and Retreats are held as at when directs by the Lord.
